What's News and more
MobileMe Helps Crime Victim Get His Mac Back....
Recently, an East Coast man had his computers stolen. After replacing his Mac, he was on his computer and noticed his "old" computer as being "online " (a feature of Back-To-My-Mac). He watched for a while what the thief was looking at on his computer, and when he noticed no activity, he took control of the remote machine, opened the Network Control Panel, and took a screenshot of the IP. The next day, whoever was in possession of the machine went online and applied for some job, providing ID. Then the original owner turned that info over to the police. Stay tuned to this story!
