Susie Frazier

During this presentation, you will learn about Susie's creative process as it relates to the production of her fine art wall features and home accessories. With references from her new book, Designing For Wellness, Susie will show you how she creates unique patterns from nature into mesmerizing wood or steel compositions that end up in hotels, hospitals, corporations, and homes all over the world. Influenced by her background in graphic design, her technique consists of pulling rhythms from the natural world through digital applications, and then transforming them into manufactured custom projects for major brands such as Hilton Hotels & Resorts, The Cleveland Clinic, Sherwin Williams, Orangetheory Fitness, and lululemon, to name a few.

A Panel of CDPUG experts will discuss alternative products now available for graphic designers to use for page layout, illustration and photo retouching.

The conversation will focus on the page layout category as the newly released Affinity Publisher makes headlines. Affinity Publisher is significant because it is powerful, has a perpetual license, a cost of $49.99, and the companion products Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo.

Also included in the panel discussion will be additional page layout programs like Microsoft Publisher, Canva and Apple's Pages. Time permitting, the conversation will include additional drawing and image editing products like Pixelmator, CorelDRAW and CorelPainter (Part of the CorelDRAW.2019 Suite).

For those of you feeling alienated like the Stones in 1965, attend this program and discover if  "🎶 Hey, You! Get Off of the Cloud! 🎶" is a refrain in your future.
