The Mac Power Users Podcast is one of my favorite podcasts. It’s what I listen to in the car as I race around in-between appointments. I don’t have a lot of spare time to spend keeping current during the rest of my day, and this podcast helps make sure that my Mac support customers consider me a “Power User.” MacSparky and Katie Floyd publish an excellent Podcast with a unique voice and an extreme usefulness.
Fonts have often been a source of frustration for my clients, and troubleshooting them a common task. Less now than in the past, but still a source of frustration for designers from time to time. I am accustomed to organizing and managing fonts for my clients, and Font Housekeeping is a line item description still used when doing billing.
Mac Power Users Podcast Episode 128 is an interesting interview with Ina Saltz, author of the title, “Typography Essentials: 100 Design Principles for Working with Type.” The conversation is insightful and stimulating. Ina has strong feelings about type, and makes herself understood in a bold and expanded manner. I recommend that this podcast be given a hearing, and am certain that other Cleveland Digital Publishing User Group (CDPUG) members will enjoy the conversation as much as I did.
