Everyone loves a good story, and so for the Thursday, April 24th CDPUG meeting, local expert Phil Stella, owner of Effective Training & Communication will present “Effective Storytelling with Style and Ease.” The purpose of this program is to help presenters at the 14th Annual CDPUG 5-Minute Showcase on Thursday, May 31st prepare presentations that dynamically tells their artistic and personal stories. Phil will show us best practices when expressing yourself visually in a presentation, and also teach us how manage presentation anxiety and other useful public speaking skills. Presenters at the May Showcase and even those that are not presenting will all benefit from learning how to confidently deliver a winning presentation.
Our evening will be kicked-off with a Five-Minute Presentation by CDPUG member Sandra Graubard. Sandra will show off her portfolio, share her story, and get the rest of us motivated for the May Showcase.

Engaging with three cohorts per year, he facilitates full-day modules on Growth Opportunities, Ideation and Competitive Landscape and on Operations, Processes and Delegation. A multiple award-winning writer, he has authored over 500 articles in national and local business, industry and association printed and electronic publications.
Prior to starting ETC in 1990, Phil managed employee communications and management training functions at Progressive Insurance in Cleveland. Previous experience includes assignments in the university, public school and broadcast media arenas. He is a proud alumnus of the University of Illinois, where he earned both Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Communications.
Phil is an engaged and respected member of COSE (Cleveland’s Council of Smaller Enterprises), Lake Communicators and the Heights-Hillcrest Regional Chamber of Commerce. He is also an active volunteer with several non-profit job search and entrepreneurial incubator groups.
